Does the world of Tyria inspire you? Are you a writer of Guild Wars 2 fanstories? Do you want to become part of a team of passionate writers? Well here's an opportunity for you.
Chronicles of Tyria will turn seven years old this month and to celebrate this occasion, we are hosting a writing contest. We are also looking for new writers to join our team and will be using this opportunity to offer permanent positions to some of the winners .
Have fun, be creative and show us what you've got!
Rules
Deadlines
This contest will run from May 1st to May 22nd 2019.
Participants will have until 11:59pm EDT on May 22nd to submit their entry via the provided form below.
Winners will be announced on June 5th 2019.
Entry
Participants may only submit one entry in either our North America or International category.
Entries must abide by the following theme: Fear Not This Night
Entry format: Short story/one-shot story.
Entry Length: 1500-4000 words
Entries must be written in English
Prizes: North America
1st Place: Offer of a permanent position on the CoT team, 2000 gems, Rytlock mousepad, Path of Fire lanyard, Guild Wars 1 Pin set, Art Print, Edge of Destiny book.
2nd Place: Offer of a permanent position on the CoT team. 1200 gems, Path of Fire lanyard, Edge of Destiny book.
3rd Place: 800 gems.
Prizes: International
1st Place: Offer of a permanent position on the CoT team, 2000 gems.
2nd Place: Offer of a permanent position on the CoT team, 1200 gems.
3rd Place: 800 gems.

This contest is open to our worldwide audience except in the following locations due to strict contest laws : Austria, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Philippines, Portugal, Province of Quebec (Canada), Russia, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan.
These restrictions may apply to more countries or regions not listed above. This contest is void where prohibited.
Participants must be 18 or older, depending on the legal age where they reside.
